Visiting a church for the first time can be confusing, like you’ve wandered into a stranger’s family reunion. Everyone else seems to know what to do, but you have no clue. With that in mind, here are a few tips for your first visit:
We rent Revolution Hall, a popular nightclub/concert venue for our Sunday gatherings. It is located in the 400 block of River Street in Troy, next to Brown’s Brewing Company. There is plenty of parking surrounding the building, and it’s all free on nights and weekends.
As you head up to River Street from your car, you’ll see a Terra Nova sign pointing you into Revolution Hall for worship. Go on in and find a seat. While you may notice the taps on the wall, the bar is unfortunately closed during the service. If you have kids, and you’d like to put them in Kids Church, you can just keep walking down River Street. Three doors down from Rev. Hall you’ll see another Terra Nova sign pointing you into our Education building. Our kids classes, offices and gallery space can be found in there. A security assistant will check you and your children in at the front door and you’ll be shown to the appropriate classroom. If there are any issues during the service, your cell phone will be buzzed by your child’s teacher. Full information about Terra Nova Kids can be found on the Terra Kids page of this site.
