This Saturday, Terra Nova Church will take part in the Joseph’s House and Shelter 2009 Winter Walk. Â This is a great opportunity to reflect the heart of Christ in our community and to represent Terra Nova Church as a supporter of our county’s only homeless shelter and as one standing in solidarity with the poor.
The walk begins at 11am from Barker Park in Troy. Â There will be a pancake breakfast for those walking from 8am to 11am at First Baptist Church. Â As a lover of pancakes, I am planning to arrive at First Baptist between 9 and 9:30am. Â Both the church and the park are on 3rd St just a block south of the Daily Grind.
Come eat, walk and if you feel led make a donation to Joseph’s House.
