Hey graphic arts people. If you think I am talking to you, I probably am. If you have a good sense of visual art [image, balance, texture, color], if you have played with images to make powerpoint slides, if you are a photoshop master or mere hack, if you have always wanted to try, I am talking to you.

Visual communication has always been a part of Terra. Andre Monserrat @ www.roguefactor.com has done some amazing work. Andre is in Albuquerque and Andre costs more money [though he is incredibly reasonable] than we can afford. About a month ago, I started doing more of the graphic work for announcements and slides. I am a confessed photoshop hack. I can get the job done, but can be a bit unorthodox in getting there. We need more folks to help carry the load.

I am looking to meet with graphic artists- experienced or not, to discuss the needs we have and how we can get this done together @ Terra. I want to discuss where we are as individuals [what skills, experiences, influences], what terra is doing now with graphic arts, and work together on creating some graphic art for upcoming chapters of the book of acts. Dates TBD.

It is really not about being professional or competing with other graphic artists. It is about us moving forward in our journey as Christ followers, as artists, as members of a community serving one another with our gifts. It is okay to come with immature skills, uncertainty, and messy results. [note: it is also okay if you are a graphic guru to show up too]
